You might think the life of a Fae might sound wonderful, right?

Well, sure! Flying, magic, potions, animal friends, a completely separate dimension, the works.

But… there’s also the possibility of dark shadow demons lurking in every corner, intense training, no meat lover’s pizza, steamed toadstools for breakfast, and a vanishing river.

At least, that’s the kind of life thirteen-year-old Isabella Bennett is dragged into. She finds one seashell and then it’s time to leave home. Now she has to come to terms with a family she never knew, and a name she never had.

Maybe just being human isn’t so bad after all…
